Synopses
Introduction
The Pathology Synopsis Section of the Toronto General Hospital Department of Anesthesia VIRTUAL TEE web site offers TEE educators and students a valuable online teaching and studying resource. Each pathology synopsis includes:
- A categorized bullet point description of each pathology.
- What echocardiographic features and associated anomalies to look for.
- Numerous 2D / 3D echo videos and photographic images.
- Desktop computer and mobile enabled formats are coming soon.

The Pathology Synopsis Section now has three synopses: sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (SOVA), cardiac myxoma and calcific aortic stenosis. To open a synopsis please select a synopsis from the list below and then click on the button marked "View Synopsis".
