The ileocolic resection is a surgical treatment option for patients with Crohn's disease, particularly patients who have developed fistulas, chronic strictures, or severely diseased bowel.

This video provides an overview of the anatomy, operational procedure, as well as information that may be useful before and after the surgery, including preparations for the procedure, tips to an optimal recovery process, and management of Crohn's disease after the surgery.
